TRIB TOTAL MEDIA’S MARKETING MINUTE

Our readers have spoken! Voting for TribLIVE’s Best of the Best Community Choice Awards closed on October 9 with over 27,000 participants casting 286,365 votes identifying the top 3 businesses in each of our 132 categories and 5 regions.

In May 2020, Trib Total Media established the Shop Local Marketing Grant program to assist local businesses with marketing during the covid-19 pandemic. Trib Total Media developed the grant to help local small businesses recover from the pandemic’s devastating effects.  

Operation Santa Claus is a cooperative effort by Trib Total Media, Shop N Save and the Salvation Army to provide holiday meals to needy families across the region along with new and gently-used children’s books. Generous donations from individuals and businesses make the program possible.   

More and more residents are experiencing their neighborhood news like never before with the Neighborhood News Network. In October 2020, the 32 community sites in the Neighborhood News Network delivered over 319,000 impressions to more than 90,000 users.

Trib Total Media recently partnered with the national media research firm Borrell Associates, Inc. on a study to assess how local advertisers have approached marketing this year and what they expect next year.

Through the Everybody Shops Seller Referral program, when you refer a business to become a seller on EverybodyShops.com, you will receive a $10 VISA gift card when that business registers, cites you as the referrer and posts their first product.  

The nomination round of TribLIVE’s 2020 Best of the Best Community Choice Awards wrapped up on Friday, August 14. The contest saw over 8200 participants submit 52,549 nominations for their favorite local businesses in over 130 categories.
